Removing a team member

There are a few different approaches that you can take when a member leaves your team.

Archive a team member

This is the simplest and most recommended solution. No changes are made to the member, but they will be removed from the calendar views in the user interface.

Optionally, when archiving, you can request a password reset (this requires approval from the owner of the email address attached to this user).

Deactivate a member

This will remove a practitioner's membership from the space. It is important to be aware of the following: * Clients created in the practitioner's profile and shared with the space will no longer be visible to the space

Note: It is recommended that a practitioner "leave" the team (from where they can handle transferring things like appointments, clients and invoices), before you deactivate their membership.

Leaving a team

This action is to be performed by the member who is leaving

When a member leaves a team: * Their password is reset (and the new password is emailed to the owner of the practice) * Their phone number is cleared * This frees them up to create a new AppointmentGuru account (for example if they are moving to a new practice * This prevents them from being able to reset the password on this account * They can: * Opt to transfer clients to the space they are leaving * Opt to transfer appointments to a colleague
