Cloning (or duplicating) appointments
Clone an appointment by date to copy information from an appointment to multiple different dates:
- Click on the appointment > Clone.
- Select Clone by date and select the dates you would like to duplicate.
- Click Create.
Clone by client to duplicate an appointment to a number of different clients (eg. if you offer a class with a group of clients):
- Click on the appointment > Clone.
- Select Clone by client and select the clients you would like to duplicate.
- Click Create.
Important behaviour specific to cloned appointments:
- Automated behaviours are not executed (rules will not be run for automated appointments and client treatment plans will not automatically be added).
- Cloned appointments inherit some functionality from recurring appointments. In particular, you can reschedule or delete the entire series. However, the first appointment is not included in the recurring series.
- Cloned appointments will always be created with a status of "new", regardless of the status of the initial appointment.
- You cannot clone an appointment that uses an online appointment type (because these require creating meetings in Zoom).
- If you have manually edited a custom invoice title (and it contains the date), be aware that the date information will be copied to cloned appointments.
