Updating operating hours

Add your operating hours and clients won't be able to book appointments outside of that time.

Specifying your operating hours ensures that clients can only book appointments with you when you're available. Your AppointmentGuru account will have default operating hours added when your account is created (8am-5pm), but you may want to change this. For example, you might not want to take appointments on a Monday morning and instead use the time to prepare for the week.

Your operating hours shouldn't change from week to week. If there are ad hoc time slots that you don't want to be booked by clients, you can block off that time through the appointment creation process.

Steps to complete:

  1. Log into your AppointmentGuru account, click on Settings and then Spaces.
  2. In the block for the space in which you want to change operating hours, scroll down to Locations and expand the relevant location by clicking on it.
  3. In the Operating hours block, expand the relevant practitioner and click the Edit button to change operating hours.
  4. Should you want to add different hours for different days, click on Add hours on that particular day.

Generate a client history report

You can generate a client history report for any client. This will generate a print-friendly report detailing their appointments, diagnosis codes (ICD-10 and tariff codes) plus any notes that you have stored on their profile.

With AppointmentGuru, you can password protect your invoices. This will encrypt the PDF files that are sent via email, as well as adding an additional layer of security to the invoice view webpage.
